Tour '22, Stage 11: Taking Advantage

So the plan of Jumbo-Visma worked, finally.  On the Col du Granon the unflappable Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) finally cracked.  Perhaps he shouldn't have gone so deep on the last two stages to add to his time gaps over those behind him on GC.  At this point it was looking like Jonas Vingegaard was all the way up the road for the stage win (and looking like a Yellow Jersey, too).  Nairo Quintana (Arkea-Samsic) was away, as was Geraint Thomas (Ineos-Grenadiers).  Now it was David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ) going away with Adam Yates (Ineos-Grenadiers) trying to match the young French riders acceleration.  At his limit all Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) could do was hang his yellow helmet and try to limit his loses.  He didn't hold onto the Maillot Jaune, but he will still be in the Maillot Blance of best young rider tomorrow.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $90 USD including shipping, and yes, international shipping is available.
