It didn't take me long to start using a play on words for a title of one of my Tour de France 2022 paintings. Not only was Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) passing his minute man, Chris Hamilton (DSM) but he was also surpassing the best time thus far in the opening time trial. As he crossed the line he was the new best time, but dropped to 5th overall by the end of the day. Still a great showing since his fifth place is only thirteen seconds off of the first Maillot Jaune of this Tour.
This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $90 USD including shipping, and yes international shipping is available.
