After trying multiple times, Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost) finally got the stage win that he and his team had been hoping for. Carapaz jumped from the group that had rolled away from the peloton and went in search of each guy up the road. By the time he had gone over the Col du Noyer, he had a ten second lead on his closest chaser. He continued to expand that lead finishing thirty-seven seconds ahead of Simon Yates (Jayco-Alula) who took second by another twenty seconds ahead of Enric Mas (Movistar). They all finished nearly eight minutes ahead of the top guys on the general classification. Carapaz has now won at least one stage in all three major Tours.
This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The work sells for $95 USD including shipping, but, yes, international shipping is both available and extra.
