Sometimes I just get to absorbed in what I am doing that I forget to sign and title the paintings. I did this once while painting the World Championships when they were in Richmond, Virginia, live and on site. Nicolas Edet (Cofidis) was another of the riders who had made the break away. With the pace having slacked just a bit on the way up the Cote de l'Estiade, Edet dropped back to his team car for a chat, a bottle, and to off load some trash. The Tour has been working diligently to keep riders (and fans) from throwing trash along the roads of France. The organizers set up designated areas for the riders to off load their trash, but this is the first time I've seen a racer pass his trash back into the team car. Chapeau, Edet and Cofidis!
This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post. Since it is an original it is first come first served. The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
