Tour, Stage 13: Two Slovenians

This title says all you need to know about the 2020 Tour de France.  While the race for the stage was decided eight minutes earlier, the race for the final Maillot Jaune was playing out on the flame rouge that demarks the final kilometer of the stage.  Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) was able to drop everyone near him on the general classification with the exception of his fellow Slovenian, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates).  Not far behind a few were able to keep these two in sight, including Richie Porte (Trek-Segafredo), Mikel Landa (Bahrain-McLaren) and Miquel Angel Lopez (Astana).  Surprisingly, it was Egan Bernal (Ineos-Grenadiers) who lost time in the finale.  With Bernal's cracking, Pogacar took over the Maillot Blanc of Best Young rider, and now sit in second, 44 seconds behind the Maillot Jaune of Roglic.  It should be noted that while two Slovenians hold the top two postions on the GC, it is then four Colombians in the next four slots.  After today, the top Frenchman is now 11th and 12th, down from third and fourth before this mountain top finish.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
