The final kilometers up to the Altiport of Megeve saw attack after attack going from the dwindling break away. With two kilometers to race, Luis Leon Sanchez (Bahrain-Victorious) couldn't have been pleased to see Nick Schultz (BikeExchange-Jayco) coming up the rise towards him with the American Matteo Jorgenson (Movistar) on the Australian's wheel. Sanchez had been off the front alone and I'm sure he was entertaining thoughts of a stage win in this Tour. I think he has one several Grand Tour stages in the past.
This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $90 USD including shipping, and yes, international shipping is available.
