With the early break now either in the peloton, or out the back, it was time to see what others could make happen. Inside of the final 20 kilometers, I believe it is Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Victorious) who strings out the peloton in his effort to go for stage glory. Behind him, it is BikeExchange-Jayco making sure he doesn't slip away for their man Michael Matthews. Sorry, I wasn't able to figure out who the two on the front were. Behind them, Jumbo-Visma is setting up their next card to play now that their man Wout Van Aert will be surrending his Maillot Jaune. He does just trade it in for the Maillot Vert, where he has a substantial lead in the sprint points competition.
This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com.
