Tour '22, Stage 6: Camera Worthy

It takes quite an effort to ride away from the peloton while wearing the Yellow Jersey, yet that is exactly what Wout Van Aert has done for the second time in this Tour.  It may be even more of a challenge to get us the great footage of the race, but here is one of the TV Moto cameramen doing just that.  I can't imagine standing on the back of a motorcycle, let alone holding a TV camera while I do it.  Let alone, getting a well composed steady image of a rider pedaling along at over 40 kph.  Chapeau!  Alas, this is probably the last time Van Aert will be in Yellow on TV this year, but he had a great run of 5 days as race leader.  Yeah, sorry, this gamble didn't pay off for Jumbo-Visma, but it definitely made for good TV.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $90 USD including shipping, and yes international shipping is available.
